March Madness Odds and Betting

The 2022-23 National Collegiate Athletic Association Basketball (NCAAB/CBB) season is set to tipoff of November 8, 2022. The regular season and conference tournaments come to an end on March 12, 2023, with the NCAA Tournament starting two days later. The National Championship Game is set to be played at NRG Stadium in Houston on April 3.

Kansas, Villanova, North Carolina and Duke each reached the Final Four in 2022. It was the Jayhawks that bested the Tar Heels in the title game, overcoming a 16-point deficit in the process.

Two legendary head coaches from those Final Four teams decided to retire following the conclusion of the 2021-22 season — Jay Wright after 21 seasons at Villanova and Mike Krzyzewski following 43 years at Duke. Wright won two championships with the Wildcats (2016 and 2018). Coach K won five titles with the Blue Devils (1991, 1992, 2001, 2010 and 2015).

Oscar Tshiebwe of Kentucky was the consensus National Player of the Year in 2021-22, and is returning to the Wildcats this season. It’s the first time the NPOY has returned to school since 2008 (Tyler Hansbrough).

As of June 6, Houston (+1000) and Gonzaga (+1000) are the co-favorites to win it all on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Cougars and Bulldogs are closely followed by North Carolina (+1100), Kentucky (+1200), Kansas (+1200), Duke (+1300), Arkansas (+1400) and Baylor (+1500).
