NFL Week 1 Odds and Betting

Week 1 of the NFL season is on the horizon, and odds have been available on DraftKings Sportsbook for some time now!

The 2023-24 campaign will begin with a Thursday Night Football matchup between the Detroit Lions and defending champion Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes and company will look to kick off their title defense with a bang, checking in as relatively heavy favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook for this matchup. The Chiefs currently sit as the favorite to repeat as Super Bowl champions, with Philadelphia, Buffalo, San Francisco and Cincinnati all looming behind them.

The Lions, on other hand, enter the season with significant aspirations of their own. Aaron Rodgers is no longer in the division, and Detroit is favored to win the NFC North as a result. Starting off the year with a win over Kansas City would send a strong message to the rest of the league. Week 1 means a fresh start for the entirety of the NFL, and it’s right around the corner.
