New York began offering sports betting in January 2022, and DraftKings Sportsbook came to New York when it launched in January. Anyone who is at least 21 years of age, has a valid United States Social Security Number, and is physically within the state of New York can bet with DraftKings Sportsbook in NY.
Sports betting in New York is regulated by the New York State Gaming Commission (NYSGC). With that, New York has regulations that may differ from other states.

DraftKings Sportsbook players can wager on the vast majority of teams, sports and events. However, some state betting regulations prohibit wagering on certain sports or athletic events.
New York does not allow betting on in-state Collegiate sports teams. These prohibited market will not be shown whilst you are in New York.
