All Maryland sportsbook operators will undergo Maryland Lottery & Gaming Control Agency testing for online sports wagering before fully going live. After 10PM on November 21, you cannot place bets. You can deposit or withdraw funds from your DraftKings account but you must do it from our website, you cannot log in to the app. Upon completion of successful testing, DraftKings Sportsbook will be fully available 24/7 in Maryland starting on Wednesday, 11/23 at 9AM ET.

During registration, customers are required to provide the following information before they're allowed to deposit or participate in real money games:

If we’re unable to verify a customer's identity right away, we’ll ask them to scan the front and back of their driver’s license to speed up the verification process.

• Standard verification (most common): This happens during registration or follow up-verification and takes seconds.
• Document upload verification: This happens when a customer is asked to provide a copy of their driver's license, and takes minutes.
• Customer Support verification: This happens in the unlikely event we’re unable to automatically verify a customer's identity using the aforementioned methods, and usually takes between 24 and 48 hours. For this type of verification, our Customer Support team will work to verify a customer's account. Requesting additional updates within the 48 hour time period may potentially delay approval time.

DraftKings is required by law to determine your physical location while using our services. This is verified by GPS/Bluetooth/Wi-Fi location services. Generally, if you’re having trouble with location detection, it’s because location services or Wi-Fi aren’t enabled on your device.
